Sequence Memory Test
Watch the pads light up, then repeat the pattern. Each level adds one more step.
How this test works
Nine pads sit in a 3×3 grid. At level 1 one pad lights up and you tap it. At level 2 the same pad lights up followed by a new one, and so on. One wrong tap ends the run, and your score is the last level you completed. The pattern is random each run.
About the score
Memory scores vary a lot from run to run, so try a few times. Many people reach somewhere in the range of 6 to 10 steps; this is a rough impression rather than measured data, and we don't compare you with other players. Our labels are just for fun:
| Level reached | Label |
|---|---|
| 1–4 | Warming up |
| 5–7 | Solid |
| 8–10 | Sharp |
| 11–14 | Impressive |
| 15+ | Remarkable |
Tips
Many people do better by grouping steps into chunks of three, or by tracing the pattern as a shape across the grid, rather than reciting positions one by one. Playing when you are rested also helps.
